Inspiration

AmputeeInspirations.com is dedicated to all the amputees out there and those that have or had friends or family members who suffered amputation.  I am an upper arm amputee myself. Many years ago I was in a traffic accident which resulted in me loosing my arm. Ever since that moment I have faced many challenges and many emotional roller coasters. I have been in many awkward situations and have faced many different reactions from people and at times have not handled it well. I am sure some of you can relate.  I have often wondered how other brave folks who are  amputees like myself deal with similar situations. I have often tried to look up on the internet to see if I can find a site that had people like myself sharing their experiences that I could learn from. I have not had much luck.  So the goal of the Amputee Inspirations is to provide a place where people like myself or people who have or had someone in their life that was or is an amputee to share their experiences and challenges and how they overcame them. Please feel free to share your experiences so many other people in similar situations can benefit from it and remember the things you share can prove helpful to  people who are anticipating amputation or are newly amputated.
